New IMMEDIATE video explains factors affecting our gut health

In a world full of health trends, it may be difficult to understand what contributes to our well-being. The EU-funded IMMEDIATE research project is on a mission to unravel health-to-disease transition.

The project aims to improve our understanding of the factors that influence our health, particularly the often-overlooked gut health.

Through the eyes of Caleb, the video explores the impact of the gut microbiome on our overall health. Contrary to popular belief, it's not just about what we eat. Rather, it's a complex interplay of various environmental factors, from diet to stress levels, that influence our health.

The end result is a mobile app that provides personalised lifestyle recommendations tailored to each user's individual health profile. By empowering individuals with actionable insights, IMMEDIATE aims to promote a proactive approach to health management.

The video is now available on the IMMEDIATE project website and YouTube channel. For the latest updates on the project's work, follow IMMEDIATE on LinkedIn and X.
