Advanced Training Programme for EC H2020 Project Officers
Best Practice Workshop: “Impact and Innovation Management in H2020 Projects”
Training for European Commission Project Officer, Brussels, 27 September 2017: The training team of the Horizon 2020 Common Support Service of the European Commission invited Eurice CEO Jörg Scherer to provide a training session on "Intellectual Property Management and Exploitation in Horizon 2020".
This workshop targeting Project Officers of the Commission will mainly focus on IP management and exploitation strategies during project implementation to ensure that all innovation-related activities are properly undertaken and steered. The event aims to enhance the capacity of EC Project Officers to monitor and assess innovation-related activities during project implementation. It will cover aspects related to capturing, assessing, protecting, and managing project results to maximise their value, and to safeguard their subsequent dissemination and exploitation. Practical issues of exploiting research results will also be discussed, along with take-to-market value chains, exploitation strategies and business models.
Being responsible for steering innovation management activities in over 20 running Horizon 2020 projects, Eurice has developed a proven set of IP analysis and exploitation management tools which will be presented as best practice examples.
Workshop participation is open to EC Scientific Project Officers and Project Officers from Executive Agencies.
