CLOSE: Concept Paper Acknowledges Management Support by Eurice
Eurice supports the dissemination, IP and project management activities in the EIT Health Innovation Project
The EIT Health Innovation project CLOSE has recently released its first joint publication in the prestigious "Journal of Diabetes Science and Technology". The article outlines the concept behind the CLOSE project and details on how the project is developing an APplus system to enhance the benefits of an artificial pancreas (AP) for patients with type 2 diabetes.
The article entitled "Artificial Pancreas Systems for People With Type 2 Diabetes: Conception and Design of the European CLOSE Project" can be downloaded as a PDF on the journal’s website.
The lead author of the article is CLOSE Project Leader Freimut Schliess (Profil Institut für Stoffwechselforschung GmbH). The list of 20 additional co-authors includes members of CLOSE project partners, CLOSE scientific advisors, the CEO of EIT Health Jan-Philipp Beck and others who are active in CLOSE.
The article greatly acknowledges the project management support of Eurice which has been supporting the CLOSE project since the proposal writing phase and provides continuous support in project management, IP management and dissemination activities.
