Eurice Officially Welcomed as EIT Health Partner
Excellent news: Eurice has joined the extensive EIT Health network as an external project partner. Connecting relevant European players from the complete ‘knowledge triangle’ of research, education and business, the EIT Health fosters healthcare innovation across borders by providing funding, expertise and collaboration opportunities.
Emphasising our strong commitment to innovation support in general and life science research in particular, the EIT Health membership will help us to validate and extend our existing network at the heart of the European health innovators’ community. Already before officially joining the network as a partner, Eurice has contributed to a number of EIT Health activities: In 2017, Eurice experts provided a student workshop on project management which included practical know-how and hands-on support in the field of strategic innovation and intellectual property management. Moreover, we have supported the EIT Health project CLOSE since the proposal writing phase and provides continuous support in project management, IP management and dissemination activities. Since 2018, Eurice has also been involved in the administrative, financial and contractual management of EIT Health project RAMSES.
The EIT Health is a Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) established by the European Institute for Innovation & Technology (EIT), an independent EU body set up in 2008 to promote innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe.
The network leverages the expertise of more than 140 leading organisations spanning key areas of healthcare, such as pharma, med-tech, payers, research institutions and universities. Creating synergies between their partners’ knowledge and competence, it accelerates collaborations in cutting-edge projects, develops health education for the future and speeds up new business development for the benefit of European citizens.
