Exploiting Health Research: Meet us at MEDICA 2016
Individual Consultations with Eurice CEO Jörg Scherer at Healthcare Brokerage Event
On November 15-17, a Healthcare Brokerage Event will give Entrepreneurs, SMEs & researchers the chance to seek strategic partners to bring their products and solutions to the market. Taking place at MEDICA 2016 in Düsseldorf, participants get the chance to find partners for product development, manufacturing, licensing and distribution agreements, joint ventures or other types of partnerships. Eurice is part of the international project consortium of Fit for Health 2.0 which is co-organising the event and aims to promote and enhance a sustainable participation of European industry in the health-related sector of Horizon 2020.
This year’s edition of the brokerage event puts particular emphasis on the efficient valorisation of research results. In this sense, free participation will be offered to companies & RTD performers that display promising health research outcomes in terms of commercial exploitation and new business development. In addition, the European Commission confirmed that coordinators/partners of running FP7 and Horizon 2020 health projects will be allowed to claim travel costs on their projects to participate in the Healthcare Brokerage event.
As part of the Fit for Health 2.0 consortium, Jörg Scherer will be one of the experts available for one-to-one consultations on 15 November. In addition, Dr. Birte Kretschmer, Programme Manager at Eurice, provides an expert training on clinical trial management within EU-funded projects. The training is part of a Horizon 2020 project cluster workshop focusing on clinical validation and commercialisation of point of care devices.
