Now Published: Update of Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020
Biggest annual budget in the current programming periode
On 2 July 2019, the European Commission has published the final update of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020. The updated work programme now includes the full topic texts of all 2020 topics which were previously only published as headlines. Furthermore, new topics have been added in almost all programme parts of Horizon 2020.
With a total of 11 billion euros, the budget available for calls for projects in 2020 has increased by 6.4% compared to 2019, making it the biggest annual budget in the current Horizon 2020 period. Remarkable in terms of content is the extension of the pilot on lump sum funding as well as the design of the final pilot phase of the European Innovation Council (EIC).
