The development and evaluation of Multipurpose crops as new biorefining feedstocks for the production of industrial BioProducts and biomass
MultiBioPro aimed at developing multipurpose crops that provide both enhanced biomass extractability and valuable bioproducts from waste streams. Crops chosen are the non-food crops poplar and tobacco that require little resource input, grow well on marginal soils and do not disrupt food production.
