HPCQS First Progress Meeting
On 2 and 3 November, 2022, the first HPCQS Progress Meeting took place. The meeting was a hybrid event, with the in-person meeting taking place at the Forschungszentrum Jülich. This was the first time the consortium had the opportunity to meet face-to-face since the project began in December 2021.
All work package leaders provided an update regarding the progress of their work for HPCQS and everyone had the chance to ask questions and exchange ideas. Furthermore, the next steps for the upcoming year were discussed.
The in-person participants received a guided tour through the Jülich Supercomputing Center (JSC) and could visit the JUNIQ building where the Pasqal simulator will be located.
The consortium was happy to meet again and is excited to continue the HPCQS project in the next years.
Within HPCQS, Eurice supports in project management and leads communication, dissemination and exploitation activities, bringing years of expertise from other quantum projects to the endeavour of building Europe’s first supercomputing ecosystem.
